Graphic Design Gallery Assistant

Overall experience with exhibition administration, production and design included event planning for opening receptions, contact with artists, art handling and installation of artwork; marketing of exhibitions and public programming involved web and print advertisements, catalogs, rack cards, brochures, posters, outdoor signage and vinyl type; upkeep of the website; requesting bids from printers and other graphic arts services; attending press checks and reviewing color proofs for print accuracy; digital photo retouching; responsible for supervising and training students, interns and new employees.

I helped guide and mentor undergraduate students who were interested in pursuing and engaging in research and inquiry. I assisted in hosting workshops, participated in the 2014 Undergraduate Research Symposium and gave classroom presentations, along with serving as a student representative on a committee in support of the Quality Enhancement Plan.
